Pinus Pumilio – Dwarf Mugo Pine
SKU: n/a.$39.99
Emerald green spiky foliage forms into a dense low mound on Pumilio Mugo Pine. In spring showy new growth “candles” appear looking like a beautiful candelabra in the garden. Growing a couple inches a year Pumilio slowly reaches 5′ and 7-9′ wide. Size can easily be managed by “candling” – pruning the new spring growth every year.
Rugged and easy to grow, this beauty tolerates dry neglected areas like a champ. Perfect for low-maintenance gardens.
Plant in sunny locations in well-drained soils.
